Experience

SERVICES OFFERED: ================ 1) USMLE Step 1/2CK/3 Preparation: I am a very experienced tutor in all of the USMLE exam. I've worked with >25 students in Step 1 and >17 students in Step 2. All of my students see an increase in their score after working with me. My style is based on "active learning" where students are expected to prepare for the sessions, and in-session time with me is case-based where I fill in all knowledge gaps in an engaging way. 2) Step 2 CS: For IMG's, the Step 2 CS exam can be an important roadblock for several reasons, whether it's organizing knowledge in a patient encounter, language barriers, or cultural differences. I do simulated sessions based on REAL Step 2 CS cases that I have seen where I act as the simulated patient. This is an opportunity to "practice as you play". After working with me, I have never had a student fail their CS exam! 3) Medical School Admissions and Residency Advising: I offer advice about putting together an attractive application for medical student committees to maximize your chances of admission to a top-quality program. I edit personal statements and activity statements, edit secondary statements, identify programs that may be a good fit, and offer mock interviews to identify strengths and weaknesses in how you present yourself.
