I teach English, Natural Science, History, and Music at a bilingual (English/Spanish) primary school in Madrid, where I work with 2nd-6th grades. I use dynamic activities to engage my students with the material (for example, acting out the books we read in class, doing science experiments to understand the material fully, and creating Interactive Notebooks to help kids study important concepts). While at college, I was a TA in the Spanish department, where I led biweekly classes focused on improving speaking and listening for students in their first year of studying Spanish. I have also lived for two years in Spain, and have a near-native fluency in Spanish. While in high school, I got a 4 on the AP Spanish Language exam. I got a 5 on the AP Macroeconomics exam, and continued studying economics through the Political Economy minor.

Hobbies
I love travelling- as well as living in Spain, I´ve spent time in Guatemala, and India, among other places. I love the outdoors, and I like hiking and running. I'm currently training for a half-marathon! As for indoor activities, I love reading (my favorite books are the Harry Potter series and Zadie Smith´s novel "White Teeth") and baking, especially chocolate chip cookies.
