Baylor University: BS - Biology (2014; 3.92) Baylor University: MA - Biology (2015; 3.86) Stanford School of Medicine: 2nd Year MD Candidate Hello, I am a 2nd year medical student from Marshall, TX with a passion for teaching Biology and many of the Human Sciences (anatomy, physiology, histology, microbiology). I have enjoyed teaching my peers since high school, and it has always seemed that most students just need to hear the material they want to learn in the way that they learn best, and in a manner which makes it interesting and applicable. A veteran of many tests myself, I have a variety of resources available for helping students with learning and retaining the information and strategies they will need for the test they want to master (pneumonics, diagrams, perspective on which material is likely to be tested on, etc.) which I have gathered through the years I taught at Baylor University. The discipline and time management involved with sports hav always been invaluable to me, and I am able to provide a unique insight and useful tips to aspiring student-athletes, especially those aspiring to collegiate sports (Recipient of the 2015 Big XII Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year for Cross Country). My test scores and employment history are listed below. I would love the opportunity to make the study of science accessible and interesting, as well as hit that target test score. Tutor for Baylor Student Athlete Services Teaching Assistant (TA) 4000 level Histology Course (Baylor University) Teaching Assistant (TA) 4000 level Human Physiology Course (Baylor University) Test Scores: MCAT: 36 (98th percentile) ACT: 34 SAT: 2160 AP Calculus: 5 AP English Language and Comp: 5 AP English Lit and Comp: 4 AP Biology: 4 1st Team All Big XII Academic Team (multiple awards) Outstanding Biology Senior Award Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society
